Drum roll please… our horse of the month for April is Dallas.

Dallas came to The Home Ranch in February from the front range of Colorado.  He is a paint horse in disguise as a sorrell.  You can tell by his blue eye and one white splotch on this left side that he is a paint.

Dallas is a pleasure to ride, he is a cool as a cucumber, but very responsive to the leg.  Before Dallas came to The Home Ranch he enjoyed entering the mountains as a pack horse, often carring supplies or camping equipment for his owners.

He is settleing in well and is excited to join the guest string this summer!
