Clark, Colorado Snow & Trail Report

Snow, Snow, Snow!

Friday, January 4th, 2008

The winter is off to a great start, the other day I heard Steamboat had received 4 feet of snow in 7 days.  We are forcasted to receive another 8 - 10 inches tonight!

All of this snow has allowed for some unforgetable memories for our Colorado Ski Tripguests.  The Cohen’s went on an off ranch trip up to Columbine meadows the other day with longtime ski guide Mike Braal.  The trip was perfect - sun, snow, fun, and back in time for a delicious lunch prepared by Chef Clyde

Tayler and Karen continue to take guests out on horseback rides and sleigh rides.  Each time is a little different with all the new snow falling.

Ski Trails Now Open

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

The Home Ranch is now open for the 2007 - 2008 season!  The trails were groomed for the first time yesterday and were excellent this morning on my way to work, with three inches of fresh powder on top.  We are looking forward to having Steamboat Springs residents and tourists join us for a ski or snowshoe and lunch.  Please give us a call if you are intersted in joining us for lunch or would like to make a reservation for later this winter.

Winter 2007 - 2008 Activities

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

With a couple of inches of snow on the ground it is time to get serious about this winter!

Mike Braal and Dana Morten will be returning to guide.  We will be offering a few additional activities on skis and snowshoes.  For Sunset Skithose that are interested we will offer a sunset ski every afternoon.  It will be a shorter ski or snowshoe that will bring you back to the ski hut at about 5:00.  We will also be doing some night activities, whether by the light of the full moon or the help of tiki torches.  You can visit with the guides or Selina for more information.

We can’t wait to see you all - Think Snow!
