This is the winter sport The Home Ranch has become known for over the last 25 years.  We have some of the best snow and cross-country skiing in Colorado.  Guided day trips, lessons, and our back country equipment are all part of our winter package.  We have upgraded our grooming equipement with a Bombardier 160 with a double track, allowing us to maintain 24km of groomed trails throughout the ranch, offering you the ideal on-site experience. 

We can introduce beginners to a whole new world in the snow.  Advanced backcountry skiers can join our guides in private powder stashes on nearby Hanh’s Peak, Sand Mountain or above Hinman Park.  The skiing doesn’t have to be extreme; many enjoy the relaxing nature walks on skis while enjoying the natural beauty of our Elk River valley and the nearby Mount Zirkel Wilderness Area.
