Women’s Yoga Retreat at this Colorado Guest Ranch
As many of you may know The Home Ranch offers a week of yoga and horsemanship for women only! Please join us this spring or fall for a once in a lifetime experience. Renowned cowgirl Tammy Pate and equestrian yoga expert Janice Baxter team up to offer a life changing experience.
Your week will include yoga, horses, gourmet cusine, a massage, bonding and relaxation. We will offer the women only retreat May 24 - 30, May 31 - June 6, October 4 - 10, and October 10 - 16, 2009. Our retreats are 3 - 6 days. The date for the mother/daughter retreat is May 25 - 29. The women’s only retreat is June 3 - 9.

Janice and Tammy teach the retreat at The Home Ranch in Clark, CO. I am not familiar with the Key Ranch, they may offer a similar retreat. However, we would love to have you attend either the spring or fall women’s retreat. Give me a call, I would love to visit with you.

Kate - We have many women that have never ridden or haven’t ridden in a number of years in the retreat each time that it is offered. Many of them continue to ride after they leave. It is a great refresher to your horsemanship skills. If you would like I can put you in touch with some of these women.

Have you set the dates for the spring 2008 Women’s Yoga Retreat? I am planning to attend but at the same time I am trying to plan a spring vacation with my husband.

What if I want to come on my own? Will there be others on a solo adventure? Is the rate for this week based on double occupancy?

Susan! ~ Most women attend the retreat on their own. The rate for the week is based on single occupancy - you will have either a private cabin or lodge room, depending on your preferance.

I would love to attend both a women’s only week and a yoga week. Could you send me info. I was talking with Greg Kirsten (OK Corral Series) and he recommended your place. He said he’d known you and Curt for a long time and that everything you do is great. I was wondering if you would consider doing a women/horse yoga clinic at our farm in WI. We have a women’s outreach to anyone who’s been a victim of anything but is now wanting to be more than just a survivor. We show them how to thrive and live their Dream.

We would love to have you and your friend attend, however you would need to come for the entire retreat in June or October of 2008. The rate would be $3000 each plus tax regardless of your accommodations.

I’m homesick for Home Ranch. We (4 friends together - 2 from CA, 2 from OR — julie, jeanne, nancy and dixie) had such a wonderful time last Oct on the Intuitive Horsemanship/Yoga week! Though we couldn’t make it back to CO this year, we 4 reunited in October at the OR Coast — riding the waves wasn’t the same as riding Home Ranch’s horses– and the food didn’t hold a candle to the amazing grub at Home Ranch.

I read your articles in the Western Horseman and just loved them. I want more. I would like to attend your woman’s yoga and horse retreat Oct. 4 - 10. As it is the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend I may need to leave on the 9th or early on the 10th depending on where the closest airport is. Mary.
